Moscow Academic Musical Theater. K.S. Stanislavsky and Vl.I. Nemirovich-Danchenko shows the premiere of the Bryantsev / Goeke / Naharin ballet evening.

Having seen Dmitry Gryantsev's “Ghost Ball”, the new director of the ballet troupe of the Musical Theater, Laurent Iler, said that this performance should definitely return to the repertoire. His decision was unanimously supported by the artists. In his work, Dmitry Bryantsev pays tribute to the ballet romanticism. This is the Taloni style, seen through the prism of Fokin stylization and filled with the breath of modernity.

The ballet "Lonely George" got its name in honor of the giant tortoise, who died in the Galapagos Islands in 2012 at the age of 100 years. “Loneliness is a basic human tragedy, and it can be realized and lived in an expressive dance. I feel that the body is a prison: the inability to get out of our bodies is the starting point from which despair begins in my movements, ”says Marco Goeke about his work.

The sound series of the ballet "Minus 16" consists of various musical compositions, from mamba and techno to traditional Raillian motifs. In his work, Ohad Naharin uses dance improvisation and Gaga, which has glorified his choreographic language.
